I have always been fascinated with computers and technology. I have taken particular interest in computer architecture - stemming from my play-through of the game "Turing Complete" in which you build a Turing complete computer out of basic logic gates - and in Artificial Intelligence. My interest in the latter was sparked not only by recent developments but also by a series of books by Roger Penrose on the topic of whether computers will ever achieve true consciousness, my opinion (and his) being that it is impossible for them to do so.
